BVCI warranties pre-cast concrete pit and cover products against manufacturing defects.
BVCI pre-cast concrete products are manufactured for their intended purpose throughout the life expectancy period of design life of 100 years.
Should the BVCI product deteriorate during its lifetime with the cause being specifically and directly related to the manufacturing process of the product, and not to any external influences or conditions outside the stated specifications and warranty detail, a warranty will be provided.
Concrete pits and manholes manufactured by BVCI meet the requirements of AS3600 exposure classification B1 for service life, and the concrete covers meet the requirement to A2 for service life. Non pneumatic wheeled traffic and street sweepers are outside this stated specification of limitations within AS3600.
Plastic Pits
BVCI warranties plastic pits against manufacturing defects.
BVCI plastic pits are designed and manufactured for their intended purpose. They are warrantied against faulty parts and workmanship for a period of 25 years from the date of purchase. A further 5 year warranty applies on workmanship and materials.
